In follow-up to our amalgamation vote in the fall of 2023 where our membership
voted overwhelmingly in favor, there will be another amalgamation vote being held in March for both Norwich and Delhi. Most details of the amalgamation will remain the same as were posted for the November vote. Things that have changed are:
1.
The vote date in Norwich will be held on Monday March 18th, 2024 from 5-8pm upstairs at the Norwich arena, outside the minor hockey room in the same location as last vote
2.
The vote is for the Amalgamation of Norwich Minor Hockey Association and Delhi and District Minor Hockey Association
3.
The Amalgamation will be for the 2025-2026 season
4. The initial financial contribution of each center will be lesser than the last agreement, as registration fees and sponsorship have been projected to cover most of the costs.
Apart from the above changes, the information shared for the previous amalgamation vote are unchanged, and all can still be found on the website and Facebook posts.
